“I Am Canadian!” Flair

Flair Airlines is Canadian. That was the ruling handed down today. So if you were one of those passengers with a ticket for a flight in the future that might or might not have taken off, depending on the outcome, you can rest easy.
The Canadian Transportation Agency was handed the task of making a decision on the discount airline’s ownership and whether or not it meant minimum standards when it comes to being Canadian enough to operate in our skies. The airline was given until May 3 to present its arguments, so the decision came down in a timely fashion as travel picks up again after two years of staying at home.
President and CEO, Stephen Jones never doubted the outcome, but others certainly did, including those buying Flair tickets. The discount airlines is competing in a suddenly very crowded Canadian aviation industry. The ruling was vital to regain consumer confidence and for their continued operation. Now that the question of Canadian ownership is settled, passengers will likely no longer hesitate to try the new kid on the discount airline block, which has stops in many large and smaller centres across Canada and a handful in the US and beyond including Orlando, Chicago, Cancun and San Fransisco.
Now, head to the Flair website for their always cheap flights and to search for frequent sales, including the current 50% off base fare sale for June. Use the promo code BLUESKIES50 to get the discount.
